Safford Programs & Services
Appliance Connections is an exciting new project designed to benefit both members of Wellness Connections and the general public.
Located at 1717 W. Thatcher Blvd., Safford, Appliance Connections is a store selling reconditioned appliances.
Acquired mainly through donations, the appliances are deep cleaned and repaired by our members before going on sale. Those machines and gadgets that cannot be repaired are recycled.
Wellness Connections has long been a proponent of providing realistic training environments for its members.
Appliance Connections is a real business that helps develop a variety of pre-job, job and employment skills.
Living in a rural community can present its own set of obstacles along the road to recovery.
And so we strive to meet the needs of those living in outlying areas of Cochise, Graham, Greenlee via Mobile Wellness Connections.
Staffed by Recovery Support Specialists, the mobile team provides one-to-one and group support to those living with mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
Additionally, participants can take advantage of tools, reference materials and recovery education in a positive and welcoming environment provided by peers.
The Mobile Wellness Connections’ team travels to outlying areas in Cochise, Graham and Greenlee Counties to meet with small groups of individuals interested in getting support to maintain their wellness. We are also working to provide these services in Santa Cruz County.
